Design and Manufacture Service

Unsure of a project direction? Design of bespoke vision panel shapes and layouts? Bespoke doors and screen designs which conform with Fire Certification, Acoustic ratings and Disability and Access Requirements?

Humphrey and Stretton can help!
With an in-house design service our draughtsmen are able to work alongside customers and architects to ensure that both the design aspirations and performance requirements are both satisfied. Part of this process may involve the production of working drawings sometimes utilising CAD (computer-aided design) and these drawings can be integrated into part of an architects package.

Occasionally we get customers who have an existing design in mind or need a performance doorset to match an existing design but are unable to find anything suitable on the market. Humphrey and Stretton can often ‘tweak’ a design to suit the tolerances and manufacturing techniques so as to satisfy the performance required for fire, acoustic or disability access without any or little change to the finished aesthetic of the doorset. This enables us to supply doors with modern performance capabilities in Listed Buildings where the design is sensitive but the materials are not, therefore protecting the building and its’ occupants whilst maintaining the same image and design throughout.
