Why are Fire Doors so important?
Fire Doors are increasingly showing their importance. All to often we hear about large fires completely destroying anything in it’s path. A since the Grenfell disaster there has been an increase in demand for Fire Doors. A Fire Door acts as a safe barrier between you and the fire. Through out Fire Door Test in 2019 you can see the difference between the exposed side and safe side of the door, it will keep you safe for the fire rated time giving the Fire Service more time to get to you. Fire Doors should be kept shut and not kept open.
